FEATURED PRACTICE

What's under the surface?

Time: 10 - 20 minutes

It's there. It's always been there. Perhaps it's a hidden gift? Or hurt. We all find ways to hide or cover-up parts of ourselves that we aren't ready to share. Take a few moments to close your eyes, and visualize a wall in front of you. Now, imagine you're peeling away layers of wallpaper. As the paper comes down, something is revealed on the wall. Maybe it's a word. Or an image. What does it say? Or look like? Could this be a part of you that wants to or needs to be revealed?

Spend some time writing about what you see, without judgement or the desire to "do anything" with what you've seen. Just explore it.
